I have experienced many disappointments after elections over the years, and I thought I finally learned not to underestimate people’s stupidity when it comes to political decisions, and that was why I thought Obama couldn’t win in 2008, or especially in 2012. I thought most voters weren’t smart enough to appreciate a guy like him to vote for him. I was proven wrong, and I was very surprised by his victory, especially in 2012. I am a first generation American, and I lived in the US for 19 years as of the date of writing this article.
